Tuff is an American glam metal band formed in 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona, by guitarist Jorge DeSaint (born George Manos) and bassist Todd Chase (born Todd Chaisson). The band was completed with the arrival of drummer Michael Lean (born Michael Raimondo) and short lived vocalist Terry Fox, who left the band shortly afterwards to pursue an ice skating career. With replacement vocalist Jim Gillette, the band recorded a 4 track EP entitled Knock Yourself Out. However, Gillette soon departed to form Nitro and was replaced by Stevie Rachelle (born Steve Hanseter) [1].

The band went onto have some success with their debut album What Comes Around Goes Around released in May 1991 on Atlantic/Titanium Records. The single "I Hate Kissing You Goodbye" was a Top 10 requested video peaking at #3 on the popular dial MTV show. What Comes Around Goes Around was produced by Howard Benson who had produced a list of similar bands Southgang featuring Butch Walker, Bang Tango, Sweet FA & Pretty Boy Floyd.

o primeiro album apareceu um pouco tarde, ja na fase de declinio do glam, talvez por isso nao tiveram a visibilidade merecida.. estes e os pretty boy floyd

De resto há por aí uma nova vaga de Glam que há uns anos atrás poderiam ter o dobro da projeccção!

por exemplo desta nova vaga tem aparecido excelentes bandas da suecia.

As que mais aprecio são Damaged Dolls (são uns putos), Sister, Billion Dollar Babies, Gemini 5, Crashdïet e Hardcore Supestar.
E claro, The Poodles, apesar de serem um pouco mais pesadotes.

Adoro esta banda, infelizmente é muito dificil arranjar os álbuns deles na Europa. No entanto já me sinto um felizardo por ter aquele que acho ser o melhor deles, "Religious fix". Esse álbum contém uma das músicas que mais gosto dentro do género, a blasfema "tied to the bells" . Se alguém, por milagre, tiver algum dos outros álbuns e quiser vender...pm .
