Devourment didn't have work permits organised apparantly. As a band from outside Europe, with merchandise on hand, entering UK, you need work permits to be let through customs. If you don't have work permits, you have about 75% to get let through either way, but still, you should need them.
After trying our best to salvage as many dates as possible of our tour, after all the bullshit we had to go through with UK Immigration, even shelling out over $2000 (non-refundable) to fly back to Frankfurt one way, we found out that UK Immigration and American Airlines worked together and used our original return flights that we booked months ago to deport us back to the United States on May 10th. Therefore due to our already overwhelming losses we are forced to cancel the European Tour. We have done everything within our power to make this happen but ultimately it just wasn't meant to be. We are very sincere in our apologies to everyone involved in this tour especially our fans who we hope will understand what we have gone through these past few days was completely out of our control. We would like to thank everyone who showed support when we needed it most. We ask that people still go to the shows and support the great bands that are still on the tour, Viral Load and Despise. If anyone feels like helping us out then we ask that you please buy something of ours from Zdenek. We as a band refuse to let this bring us down and we plan on channeling this anger into the writing of our next album which we will begin work on very soon. Again a huge thanks to everyone involved in every country, all of our fans in Europe, and anyone who in any way tried to help us out. We greatly appreciate it.
