Steven: "Eu vi Axl, falei com ele desde, merda, que horas era? Das 10 ou 12 da noite até as 8 da manhã nós conversamos. Resolvemos muita merda".

Como foi isso? Deve ter sido esquisito!

Steven: "Foi maravilhoso. Simplesmente maravilhoso. Eu fui o mesmo cara de sempre com ele e ele gostou. Cara, nós nos falamos até as 8 da manhã!"

Uau.

Steven: "Foi no Hard Rock, quando ele tocou lá".

Você viu o show?

Steven: "Sim... três pessoas na banda dele parecem com o Izzy. Eu falei pra ele que isso era muito mal. Eu estava brincando. Eu disse: 'Sabe, nós cinco temos que nos juntar de novo! É aí que a coisa vai decolar de novo! Nada vai ser maior. Vai ser como a maior reunião da história.'

E o que ele disse?

Steven: "Você sabe como ele é. Ele só sorriu. Todos da banda vieram até mim, 'Você é o baterista mais foda! Nós dissemos ao Axl que ele têm que juntar a banda de novo!’ Foi o que eles disseram para ELE! Foi maravilhoso".

Steve: "Estive conversando com Izzy. Estive falando com Slash. 20 anos, cara, desde que o ‘Appetite’ saiu. O disco do Axl está para sair em, o que, poucos meses?"

Steven: "Izzy quer uma reunião. Eu sei o que eu tenho que fazer. Antes que qualquer coisa aconteça, eu e Chipp (Z'Nuff) estamos conversando sobre fazer uma turnê mundial".

Penumbra gravam novo álbum

French gothic metal band PENUMBRA has entered the studio to record three new songs. More information will be made available soon.

PENUMBRA last year announced the addition of female singer Asphodel to the group's ranks. "Asphodel's beautiful voice perfectly suits the new musical direction PENUMBRA has taken since their last album, 'Seclusion' [2003]," the band previously wrote on its web site.

PENUMBRA's "Seclusion" CD was released through the Season of Mist label.

Pelo que sei o Aaron têm andado meio passado com Deathspell Omega.
Ora sabendo do que a cabecinha pensadora do senhor Turner é capaz,poderá sair dali algo surpreendente muito interessante mesmo.

É bom por um lado, mas péssimo porque o Scott Conner saiu de lá. E se deixasse só o tipo a vocalizar o próximo trabalho seria bem melhor.

POISON Drummer's CHOP SHOP Under Consideration For Reality-TV Show - Feb. 20, 2007
Chop Shop Drum Company, which counts POISON drummer Rikki Rockett as one of its partners, is rumored to be under consideration for a reality TV show similar to "Orange County Choppers", only in this case it will be showing the making of custom drums each week instead of custom bikes. No further information is currently available.

Chop Shop has been gaining popularity with young and seasoned drummers alike since it’s inception in 2001. Customers worldwide have sought out Chop Shop to create one-of-a-kind, completely custom drums, which are handcrafted to the player's exact specifications.

IMMOLATION: New Song Posted Online

Long-running New York death metallers IMMOLATION have uploaded a new track, entitled "World Agony", to their MySpace page. The song comes off the group's upcoming full-length album, "Shadows in the Light", due in April through Century Media and Listenable Records in the U.S. and Europe respectively.

Moonfog/The End Records set album release date

MOONFOG / THE END RECORDS has set a worldwide release date of April 17th, 2007 for the album 'Supervillain Outcast'. The album will be released in Norway on March the 27th.

Online Petition Launched To Remove Indian 'Nu-Metal' Band From IRON MAIDEN Concert - Feb. 24, 2007




An online petition has been launched to get the Delhi, India-based metal band FTN (F*** THE NAME) removed from the bill of the upcoming IRON MAIDEN concert (flyer) in Bangalore, India on March 17.

According to the petition, "the organizers of the IRON MAIDEN gig in India, DNA Networks, conducted a nationwide college-level battle of the bands called the Campus Rock Idols. The band, FTN, won this competition, and is being made to open for IRON MAIDEN. However, people argue that the quality of the participating [acts] this year was really bad. It is a known fact that professionalism has nothing to do with one's academic status, and that winning a substandard battle of the bands does not prove anything other than relative superiority.

"People supporting the petition argue that FTN is a relatively new band with only two songs, [and] that their setlist is dominated by KORN and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE covers, which is inappropriate for an IRON MAIDEN supporting act; and that playing nu-metal COVERS before IRON MAIDEN is blasphemous. They say that there are far more professional bands writing and performing quality original music who should be given this golden opportunity instead of a college-level amateur band."

NILE:
Nile, along with Neil Kernon and Bob Moore, is set to begin recording at Sound Lab in Columbia, SC on Tuesday. This will be Nile's fifth full-length album, and their first release with Nuclear Blast records.

The band has been in pre-production since November working their asses off, and are now looking forward to getting to Columbia and laying down some brutal tracks
