E a minha música acústica preferida é sem dúvida a "Witnesses".

Sempre fui fã da Anneke (The Gathering é a minha banda favorita), mas quanto mais ouço Agua de Annique ou os concertos a solo/acusticos dela, mais aborrecido me soa.
A voz continua fantastica, sempre sera uma excelente interprete, muito dificil de igualar, mas deixa muito a desejar quando se trata de escrever ou compor qualquer musica.

Quando abandonou os The Gathering, estava a espera de muito mais da parte dela. Fiquei muito desiludida, e com o passar do tempo, mais desiludida fico.

Quanto aos The Gathering, felizmente não me desiludiram com o album "The West Pole", muito pelo contrario. Não estava a espera de algo tão bem conseguido. Acredito que se a Anneke fosse a vocalista deste album seria perfeito, mas a Silje fez um excelente trabalho. Falta é comprova-lo ao vivo.

Three songs from "In Your Room", the new album from AGUA DE ANNIQUE — the Dutch band led by ex-THE GATHERING vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen — are available for streaming at the group's official web site.

"In Your Room" will be released on October 30. The 12-song effort was written entirely by Anneke except for two tracks: "Just Fine" was co-written with Devin Townsend and "Adore" was composed by AGUA DE ANNIQUE bassist Jacques de Haard and Cyril Crutz.

The "Hey Okay!" single will be made available on October 6.
