Sephiroth; a árvore da vida - A visão dos Darkside of Innocence.

Boas,

Deixo aqui o tópico aberto para uma possivel discussão que poderá ser interessante. Tema que os Darkside of Innocence abordarão no próximo álbum.

O álbum dá pelo título de Sephiroth Complex e o que se segue é um avanço, relativamente ao seu conceito inerente;

"Etymologically speaking; Cabalistic Sephiroth (the junction of the 11 Sephiras) also known as the tree of life, was engineered by the ancient Jews (which I humbly believe to cross far beyond their lifetime, due to its perfection) to describe the states of the human spirit (or the so called emanations of conscience a.k.a. Sephiras). Thus, enlightened by that, there’s a conduct of faith which meets the Gnostic message; Sophia’s one (Chokmah - the second Sephira according to the cabalistic system). Sephiroth Complex will hence unveil a lot of mystification brought by the change of ages concerning Sophia’s message. Consequently misleading many to forget its true meaning and purpose.

Besides that; Sephiroth complex is actually, a conceptual fable, merged in allegories and it features a completely figured nature. An epic replete of pure mysticism and some well known legends, which is also, characterized with a good dose of decadent literature.

The beauty and the beast - The eternal inner battle of the conscious being against Daemon or Pan (the same entity), which for those who don’t know, is the personification of our instincts or the so acclaimed “Beast”. Pan (Kether - the crown) is the first Sephirah, lying even above Sophia. Sephiroth Complex is the final clash for the human independence, a legacy for autonomy and freedom which takes the human being to desperately seek Arcadia - the promised kingdom, in my vision – and find it, in the end, after struggling a lot.

Principally this odyssey will essentially approach an esthetical point of view, since I personally believe that the being, initially only with its basis – its instincts - whom Sophia blesses and turns intellectual, develops an aesthetic sense to appreciate what’s beautiful around it (when it learns to think for itself using its instincts or in this case you can call it motivations, to evolve its mind) is Baphomet (or Lux fero – the light bringer); the son of a marriage between Sophia and Pan (which in Sephiroth Complex; I tend to call Bahamuth - higher lord of the skies). In other words, supposedly Baphomet is the mystical personification of the human being, since it bears the head of pan (fortunately it doesn’t leave the daemon behind) however its body is humanly formed to guide its paths in a different manner. To make you have compassion before the one who suffers, to respect, to know your limits and break yourself free. It clearly emphasises the controversial word Thelema (will) – “thou what thou wilt”. To reach Arcadia, to achieve a place among God – a place where YOU are GOD, free from Bahamuth’s incarceration which enchains you till Death.

Therefore, the message regarding Baphomet at Sephiroth Complex, is much more than it actually meets the eye; Remember that despite of its cruel nature (just think on how sadistic the nature tends to act on its pure form), you shall not forget Pan as the basis of life - the capacity to create - to find Arcadia. There’s a phrase applied to the templars' manners (the ones to come up with the baphomet ideology) that specially appeals me; “Et in Arcadia ego” which you can translate it to something like this: Arcadia is in your ego or; the map to Paradise lies within your ego (in your daemon).

“When the beast drawing man to sin, walks beside him, he shall earn what many longed to savour.”
