BIRUSHANAH was formed at hometown Osaka JAPAN by bassist Sougyo and drums John in 2002. 1st Cd was released from Shibata’s label SMD records. In the last period of Tesuo (before band of Sougyo & Iso). Birushanah is a five piece osaka based band which combines subsonic bass annihiliation with uniquely japanese sounds. Bassist Sougyo uses a fretless, aluminium necked bass and runs it through a series of different amplifiers and layers of distortion. This is combined with drums, metal percussion (44 gallon drums, car wheels etc) and guitar to create a wall of sound that must be seen to be believed. BIRUSHANAH use many Japanese traditional scale with fretless bass and mixed them into a band sound and BIRUSHANAH's style was completed. After that, BIRUSHANAH are planning to tour in USA, Australia, Europe and be active to all over the world.
