Moonspell reveals their album cover. An intricate, marvellous and symbolic creation by Seth Siro Anton, the Greek artist who collaborated with the band on Night Eternal. This may be his finest and darkest piece to the date, invoking all the atmosphere that Moonspell dual album, Alpha Noir/Omega White, will unleashed on April 27th via Napalm Records. According to The Pulse Of Radio, a source has told MetalTalk.net that the three remaining original members of BLACK SABBATH have recruited Tommy Clufetos, who plays drums in singer Ozzy Osbourne's solo band, to sit behind the SABBATH kit for the foreseeable future.

The source added that manager Sharon Osbourne has effectively "fired" founding drummer Bill Ward, who announced last week that he could not participate in the recording sessions or tour plans due to his unhappiness with the contract he was offered.

Tive sempre uma leve sensação de que era meramente negócios do que uma reunião propriamente dita. Se o Dio nunca tivesse morrido, possivelmente nunca haveria a reunião da formação original.

Storm Corrosion Announce Album: Opeth and Porcupine Tree Frontmen Unite for New Project

Opeth's Mikael Åkerfeldt and Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson have teamed up in a new project they've dubbed Storm Corrosion. The prog-rock stars will release their self-titled debut album on April 24 via Roadrunner Records.

Åkerfeldt and Wilson have been friends since the late '90s, when Wilson co-produced Opeth's revered 'Blackwater Park' album. Over the years, they'd often spoken of working on a project together, but it wasn't until recently that they managed to make something happen, when Mikael flew over to visit Steven in the UK and they ended up in Wilson's home studio throwing ideas around. That visit was the nascence of a whole self-titled album, written and produced by the pair, and mixed by Wilson.

Roadrunner Records describes Storm Corrosion's sound as "enchanting, orchestral, ambient, epic (half the album's tracks clock in around the 10-minute mark) and nothing short of surprising to the new ear."

Estou com bastante curiosidade para ouvir este trabalho. O Steve e o Mikael parece que trabalham bem juntos, vamos ver se sai uma pérola desta colaboração...

Fogo estava aqui a pensar e vendo os lançamentos previstos para 2012... bem este ano tem tudo para ser magnífico.

Olha que bela notícia... Relativamente a compras feitas na Doomrock. Pelo que entendi, um dos serviços permite que se compre o que se quiser por €15 de portes de envio (a não ser que seja erro nos cálculos do site). Muito caro para um artigo, mas justifica para compras maiores.

In November 2010, Garcia, Oliveri and Bjork announced a reunion under the moniker "Kyuss Lives!" for a European tour, with Bruno Fevery serving as the band's guitarist. In reference to the new band name, Garcia stated that "there is never going to be a Kyuss without Josh Homme" and that "hopefully in the future him and I can get together and do some writing."
