Foi em 1996 quando F ran retorna aos Tyr juntamente com Victor de la Rubia na guitarra, Txarly na bateria. Algumas semanas depois juntaram-se como Alex Beltrán no teclado, Goos no baixo e Efraín na voz.
As suas primeiras actuações ao vivo são feitas na primavera de 1997 na cidade Natal. Em 1998 vão participando em diversos concursos.
Já abriram para bandas como Symphony X, Rhapsody, Lacuna Coil, In Flames, Kamelot e Gamma Ray, provando que o seu Heavy Metal é o que de melhor se faz em Espanha.
O seu primeiro disco é gravado em 2000/2001.
E depois de muitas dificuldades e desistências os Tyr voltam em 2005 para gravar um álbum, desde então não têm parado de dar concertos...

En 1996 se formó esta banda de estilo muy personal y particular. Basta con cambiar la voz o el ritmo en un tema para que se convierta en otro muy distinto, esto les lleva a tocar temas que van desde el Heavy Metal en su vertiente más melódica hasta el Hard Rock más dinámico.
Pese a la juventud de sus componentes, estos malagueños debutaron de manera sobresaliente con este álbum. En él combinaban con maestría influencias del Hard Rock más tradicional dándole a los cortes la energía y vitalidad del buen Heavy Metal.

Who would ever guess that in sunny and warm Lisbon, the capital of Portugal,
suddenly a core of Heavy Metal Hippies would join and form an Heavy Rock / Doom
monster called DAWNRIDER in the spring of 2004? Actually they did, and they
took the underground by storm when they made their first live appearance
in July 2005, to promote their debut Split EP with Maryland´s War Injun out on
Blood and Iron Records (also based in Lisbon).
Dawnrider frontman F.J. Dias teams up with João Barrelas
and Hugo Conim on guitars and quickly add the rhythm section made up of
Samuel Rebelo on bass and Victor Silver on drums. All these members have
contributed in the past in several underground bands from Portugal some with
lesser importance, others with bigger impact, such as Subcaos and The
No-Counts D.O.M. just to give an example of two different eras. Embracing a
whole culture of 70s Psychedelic Hard Rock and 80s Doom Metal, but also
speeding up occasionally like a Punk/Metal cocktail, Dawnrider is here to
stay, bringing a positive message, brought by an imaginary freedom warrior
riding unknown roads, battling against evil spirits and destroying
oppressive human condition.

Em Fevereiro de 2006 os AtticK DemonS completam 10 anos de existência.
Depois de editarem 2 demo-tapes uma em 96 outra em 97
A banda é na sua maioria influenciada por bandas de Heavy Metal dos 80s com uma forte componente melódica entre p Heavy e o Power Metal.
Alguns locais onde tocaram Rookie, Barroselas Fest. Ameixoeira Metal Fest entre outros.
Em 2002 uma das suas músicas é incluída numa colectania eslava.
Neste momento estão a produzir o seu álbum que será lançado em 2007.

If you are into the Portuguese underground, then ATTICK DEMONS are not new to you (we hope!). Then, is also known their heavy metal style, pulled right from their hearts, which makes them more tasty
... Personally, I know the band for some time but can't remember how was their sound in the demos - to know, «Promo-tape 96» and «Promo-tape 97» but I assure to those who not know them they deliver a fine good heavy metal, much in the vein of IRON MAIDEN (early phase) and our TARANTULA (also in their initial phase); by the way, these are two of their influences... This MCD starts with "Visions", a fine tune right after some seconds - Artur Almeida voice reminds me of old good metal songs, when life was a combination of sex and rock n' roll (we pass for drugs) and the guitar was our good... Ok, stop the vision since technology invaded us and sex and rock n' roll always result in divorce! My highlight is, surely, «The Ideal» and note, last week, I found myself singing along in the middle of the train (needless to say that everyone was looking to that weird guy over there ; seriously, I find this the best song, despite "Attick Demons", a hymn to the band, should be in my preference's top. To those who unconditionally think that a good heavy metal release should have a ballad, tune your CD player to track 3 ("Desert Rose") and it will jump to your ears. Being this a heavy metal based MCD, we were expecting long songs (6-7 minutes), with loads of solo guitars and good riffs, resulting in *ss-kicking songs; these parameters except one - the track lengths - are more than fulfilled. We also know that they are preparing their debut CD, which promises to be a bomb! So, if you don't know them, you must a) put your ears on this release b) go to one of their concerts or c) wait for the CD bomb... By our side, all the answers are more than valid, since for long time we didn't had such a good retrospective of the 80's metal. One lack (that made them lose one point) was the production, that could be more refined to give a more clean sound - we're sure that this point will be fixed in their debut; even so, I enjoyed the layout, rather simple but effective, raising half a point.
