O meu voto vai para o Burning Bridges, com o Liiva, e o Doomsday Machine com a Angela. Mas como não sou muito dado a ouvir os albuns deles de estúdio (com excepção do Doomsday, que tem uma produção fabulosa), o que mais oiço é mesmo o Burning Japan

O meu voto vai para o "Doomsday Machine" que tem a minha música favorita , a "Skeleton Dance".

Eu quase que tenho medo de responder a esta questao, da ultima vez entrei em discussao. Acho limitadas as pessoas que dizem apenas ouvirem até ao album Burning Bridges, sim o som mudou, alguns aspectos mudaram, mas ei.... continuam a ser uma banda com renome onde quer que passem. Pessoalmente o que mais ouço é Anthems of Rebellion de 2003

São gostos. Acredita que têm muitas bandas e vocalistas que também não gosto. E um género de exemplo é o grind, é que não percebo mesmo nada, aquilo para mim é que é so berrar

Todos até ao Burning Bridges, isso para mim é que é arch enemy.

não é que nao goste da Angela, ela é uma grande vocalista ... mas o instrumental tornou-se muito fraco...perderam a sonoridade "suja" e extrema que tinham nos primórdios.

The Root of All Evil foi um grande erro, não se regrava o que já é perfeito fodasse ! ficou uma grande porcaria !
deviam ser todos crucificados e estripados !

Foi uma escolha muito difícil pois adoro todos os álbuns de inicio a fim,da fase com a Angela. Assim como adoro o som da guitarra que eles possuem actualmente. E ao contrário de muita gente, não vejo nada de especial na fase anterior deles...

De todas as bandas que nunca vi ao vivo, é a que mais gostava de ver a par de Therion.

Arch Enemy é oficialmente a primeira banda internacional de Rock/Metal a tocar nas Maldivas. O que é algo extremamente excelente, pois é importanta salientar, que apesar de muitos de nós nos queixarmos (e com razão até), que muitas bandas deviam vir cá e não vem, o povo das Maldivas teve direito a ter no seu pais a primeira banda de metal internacional. E a constatar por este video, teve uma grande afluência, isto para um pais com 300 e tal mil pessoas.

Deve-lhes ter custado horrores ter que tocar nesse "fim de mundo"...

Uma das minhas bandas favoritas, o Mike Ammott está no meu top five de guitarristas favoritos. Pah quanto ao facto desses comentários acerca da Angela e como lhe saltavam pra espinha, são meramente as hormonas a falar Acho-a um monstro de palco, extremamente superior ao Livah, não a 100, mas a 200%. Infelizmente inda não tive grande opurtunidade de os ver ao vivo, o que lamento. Tenho dois albuns originais deles, o tyrants e o root of all evil. O meu album favorito é o Anthems e foi nesse que votei, com brutos malhoes, we will rise, dead eyes see no future, despicable heroes entre outros.

Arch Enemy - Recording New Studio Album

Arch Enemy have released the following statement:

"Coming off a triumphant headlining tour in the UK last month with support by Grand Magus, Chthonic and Malefice, metal masters Arch Enemy have begun recording a new studio album. After releasing the Tyrants Of The Rising Sun - Live In Japan Live DVD/CD (2008) and the re-recordings album The Root Of All Evil (2009), the new studio effort marks the long awaited successor of 2007's acclaimed Rise Of The Tyrant album.

Arch Enemy's new album will be self-produced by the band and engineered/mixed by Rickard Bengtsson (who already produced 2005's Doomsday Machine album). The band has recently entered Sweet Spot Studio in the south of Sweden for the album's recording process and drummer Daniel Erlandsson, who just finished off tracking his parts, now checks in with the following report:

"After an intense but inspiring stay in the studio, I've just completed recording the drum tracks for the upcoming Arch Enemy album! We're working once again with Rickard Bengtsson, who produced Doomsday Machine, and he quickly dialed in an absolutely pristine drumtone! I've also had the expertise of local drum guru Beppe Wackelin at hand, helping out with tuning and kindly letting me use some of his vintage drums. This time around I've used a Pearl Reference drum kit, while incorporating various snare drums on songs that demanded a slightly different feel.

We had a very inspiring and creative time writing this album, I think this is definitely evident when listening to the new songs. There's tons of variation in the material, ranging all the way from very melodic to extremely heavy. As you can expect there's no shortage of killer riffs and intricate guitar work, the Amott Bros have come up with some very cool yet demanding ideas! This album has some of the fastest songs I've ever recorded, along with a bunch of heavy pounding mid tempo songs. As always, it's difficult to describe music in words - but rest assured - this album will be one heavy fucker!"

bem, não gosto da fase com o Liiva (tirando o Burning Bridges), acho que a nova fase é a melhor.
votei Anthems por ser o primeiro deles que ouvi e por ter a minha favorita: Silent Wars.
no entanto, o que ouço mais é o das regravações.
