Actualização das festividades:
- tivemos que desistir da nossa ideia inicial de lançar quatro singles (com 2 músicas cada um) por motivos económicos, e consequentemente de tempo por isso optámos por compilar todas as músicas dos singles num álbum. O lançamento será em cd, estão concluídas todas as gravações e misturas, pelo que estamos a ultimar toda a parte gráfica.
- Procuramos editoras ou distribuidoras interessadas em lançar o álbum connosco.
- Está agendado um concerto para o dia 18 de Julho com DISTHRONE e BAKTHERIA no Feijó, onde, na melhor da hipóteses teremos o álbum disponível.

No sábado passado viveu-se uma excelente tarde/noite de convívio e vadiagem. Isto, claro, descontando os pregos e cavilhas metidos durante o nosso concerto. Fica aqui o nosso agradecimento à malta que apareceu e suportou o concerto. Fora isso, saudações calorosas para os DISTHRONE e os BAKTHERIA que deram tudo em palco! Para fechar, nota muito, mas muito positiva para a SREF, especialmente para a Ana Maria Pires e o Zubi que são malta com as ideias organizadas e com as quais a cena underground tem muito a aprender.

Mais duas músicas que sairão no álbum a ser editado em Setembro pela editora Sinais.

"(...) The initial idea was to play some sort of Doom Metal, because I thought it was the simplest form of Heavy Metal and within my reach during those early days. I wanted to sound like the music you can find on Death Penalty and Die Healing but I failed miserably. A friend of mine from Tasmania has pointed out that we ended up more like a tuneless Reverend Bizarre inspired band. I just want the songs to capture some of the essence of the film they are inspired from, or at least have some sort of resemblance with the general ambiance and mood of the film. For example, Death Race 2000 has that playful and childish verse riff that transitions into a more violent and heavy refrain, which kind of reminds me of the mixture of dumb fun and reckless violence that the film carries. (...)
