O Everblasting Struggle é o que seria a idade das trevas caso os normandos inventassem o tanque! Um assalto incessante e impiedoso!
Metáforas à parte, o álbum esta poderosíssimo! A solida base rítmica e os riffs permitem que as orquestrações da Noctis Lunariis dêem um complemento essencial à musica e não o contrário, como acontece em tantas bandas do género, em que a musica mais parece que vai atrás dos teclados. No geral nota-se que houve um esforço da parte da banda para fazer um trabalho bastante coeso!
Como é inevitável a bateria e a voz saltam bastante ao ouvido, mas tenho que admitir que o tipo de riffs utilizados foi o que realmente me cativou!
Se o ano começa assim em termos de lançamentos portugueses fico à espera de mais!

Como seria de prever, a bateria desempenha aqui um papel demolidor, massacrando as nítidas e cortantes linhas de guitarra e os guturais e esgares esforçados de Azrael, enquanto os teclados possuem o irónico e importante papel de sobressaírem incólumes do meio de todo este caos sonoro. [ 8.5 ]

Review Industry Dead
The music is prominently Black Metal, rather fast paced and blasting away for the most part, with the obligatory BM screeches type of vocals. The vocalist does a great job overall, literally spitting the lyrics away and matching the music’s violent and spiteful feel very well. There are a few Death Metal elements popping up here and there as well, but really just “accompanying” the domineering Black Metal sound. Keyboards are present and quite noticeable, not unlike early Emperor (meaning very audible but not overbearing). Fortunately they only play an accompanying role and don’t get in the way too much, rather adding a little symphonic and even epic touch to the ensemble. A few quite intro/outro and other more or less ambient passages can also be heard - these are often annoying, but I guess Epping Forest have “the magic touch”, for these not only fit perfectly here, but they’re actually pretty good.

Tenho o "Everblasting Struggle" à uma semana(+ ou -)...ainda não consegui descolar o cd do rádio do carro...gostei mesmo muito, já o disse ao Mystic!
Acho o empenho dos 4 elementos deveras importante e sem 1 deles tudo seria diferente, no entanto o trabalho do Menthor é realmente fantástico...sou apaixonada por percurssões e bateria e ele está no topo do meu top de bateristas portugueses!!Acho que se deve realçar também o fantástico trabalho de estúdio, desde as captações/mistura e masterização, os seus encarregados tiveram um exímio trabalho e excelente bom gosto!!!As ligações entre faixas estão brutais e simples...Gosto especialmente da faixa 9..não me recordo o nome agora e como já referi..o cd tá no carro!!!hehe...

Acho o empenho dos 4 elementos deveras importante e sem 1 deles tudo seria diferente, no entanto o trabalho do Menthor é realmente fantástico...sou apaixonada por percurssões e bateria e ele está no topo do meu top de bateristas portugueses!!Acho que se deve realçar também o fantástico trabalho de estúdio, desde as captações/mistura e masterização, os seus encarregados tiveram um exímio trabalho e excelente bom gosto!!!As ligações entre faixas estão brutais e simples...Gosto especialmente da faixa 9..não me recordo o nome agora e como já referi..o cd tá no carro!!!hehe...

Ainda só ouvi muito por alto no site , mas wow ... fiquei boquiaberto literalmente.Não tava nada á espera do que ouvi...
Muito poder e extremamente bem tocado com ali uns toques de teclado á Emperor/Dimmu Borgir (opinião pessoal) .
Vou ouvir com mais atenção sem dúvida alguma!
