After the fantastic "Destroyers from the Western Skies" presenting some of the jewels USBM has to offer, it's the turn of Portugal to prove its amazing scene and here are some of the most influential bands of the Lusitanian scene. Many must be familiar wit my fascination of the USBM but no one knows i am equally fascinated with the Lusitanian scene, as it is overflowing with amazing quality bands, often far more superior than the scandinavian scene, but so underrated. Let's start with STORM LEGION who opens the offensives with a portuguesissimo song "Imperium" where lyrics are clearly...Portuguese. Acceptus Noctifer is to Portugal what Demoncy or Inquisition are to the US, raw, thick and merciless black metal played with true barbarian hate....or the totalitarian assault of LUX FERRE who will punish severely anyone who dares to denigrate the unholy divinities of war. FLAGELLUM DEI takes no mercy of your soul and gained a solid reputation to be compared to the USBM majesties NOKTURNE (All hailzz Psykho, keep insane and bloodspilling ferocious). DECAYED, the ancient gods of Lusitanian Blaclk Fucking Metal are here with an exclusive track "Shoghots" and one thing is sure, DECAYED is to Portugal what PROFANATICA is to the USA, the pioneers of raw, merciless and blasphemous Black Metal the way IT SHOULD BE!!! RAPTUS is a nice discovery with another hymn of hate namely "Morte Libertadora", proving you death means freedom. THY BLACK BLOOD make it totally raw but at the same time melancholic and very obscure...well done! INTHYFLESH already gained a solid reputation by releasing a total fuck off to all the bastards on this planet.."Despisingly Shooting Outsiders" is a prove once you are in the domain of death, there is no escape! ONIRIK comes with a fantastic track named "The Proud Of The Apocalypse"....Ahhh MORTE INCANDESCENTE, everytime i am holding a piece of work from the mighty Vulturius, i am feeling ecstatic, Vulturius never ceased to amaze me nor fail to disappoint and here is an exclusive track "Noite Das Chamas" which is simply brilliant....as the guitars are colder than ice....truly mesmerizing! FLAMMA AETERNA, one of the previous bands of the mighty Conqueror from CELTIC DANCE comes up with agreat track entitled "In Battle With The Angels", While COLDNESS will freeze you to death, INNER HELVETE will rip your body into pieces and IRAE shall unleash the divine hammer of Hate and reduce you to pulp....and Finally....the final coup de grace is given by CORPUS CHRISTII like a nail in the coffin....to conclude, this is a must have recueil of the Lusitanian scene...www.nightmareproductions.kom.pt
