Bem, tenho andado um pouco afastado de filmes.

este domingo, decidi voltar a dedicar-me a este vicio e aluguei 2 filmes.

1º Street Kings (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0421073/)

Muito bom filme, já tinha saudades de ver o Keanu num filme que não metesse extra-terrestres ou demónios ao barulho. Boa interpretação do sr. Reeves e muito bem acompanhado pelo grande Forest Withaker.

2º Old Boy

Não consigo descrever o que achei do filme....vou tentar assim:

Catalogado como comédia romântica, acaba por surpreender todos ao tornar-se num drama bem pesado. Excelente interpretação de Hillary Swank, acompanhada por um elenco recheado de caras bem conhecidas. Acaba por ser daqueles filmes que puxa a lágrima, apenas e só porque retrata muito bem a solidão e o sentimento de perder alguem que nos é querido. Com partes do filme a serem filmadas na Irlanda, com muita música irlandesa à mistura, acaba por surpreender também nestes campos.

Peter Gabriel has opted out of singing his Oscar nominated song Down to Earth from Wall-E because they are only giving him 65 seconds to perform according to Nikki Finke.

"Gabriel said in his letter that he was only being offered 65 seconds for his song. “I don’t feel that is sufficient time to do the song justice, and I have decided to withdraw from performing,” Gabriel informed AMPAS. “I fully respect and look forward to the producers’ right to revamp the show. Foram lançados após o fim da série e devem ser transmitidos na TV, cada um divididos em vários eps. Não estou a par disso, mas julgo que ia ser na Cartoon Network.

Queria ter dito Comedy Central... como há uns anos houve reruns no Cartoon Network troquei-me.

CraveOnline: Futurama on Comedy Central, are you frustrated that Fox didn't pick it up like Family Guy?

Matt Groening: Well, I was frustrated when it got cancelled, but Fox, 20th Television is the one who came back and said, "Would you like to do a DVD movie?" and we said, "Let's do two" and they said, "Well, why not three?" and we said, "Well, why not four?" and they said, "Okay, four" and then that's it.

CraveOnline: Are they really full movies or just three episodes together?

Matt Groening: We're writing them as movies and then we're going to chop them up, reconfigure them, write new material and try to make them work as separate episodes.

CraveOnline: Can DVD versions be more extreme than the ones for air?

Matt Groening: Those are the marching orders we gave ourselves, yes, to really try to push it and do things we might not be able to do on TV. And then Comedy Central picked up the show and we went, "Okay, probably there's nothing we can think of that Comedy Central won't run" because I'm astonished at what I see on Comedy Central every day.

CraveOnline: How will you turn those into episodes then?

Matt Groening: We are reconfiguring them and writing new material and narration and this that and the other so that they'll stand on their own as episodes.

CraveOnline: Could it go on beyond that?

Matt Groening: I hope so. My guess now is that this is basically a season that we're in production on which is complicated because they're also DVDs, so that they'll probably wait and see how they do and then we'll get the pickup.
