Como o Zyklon pertinentemente apontou, deveria ter perguntado sobre a capa de "Sub-Templum", o segnificado por detrás disso. De facto tinha essa pergunta em mente antes de compôr as questões, mas enquanto as criava, esqueci-me por completo dela. De qualquer modo falei com o Olly Pearson outra vez e aproveitei-lhe para lhe perguntar isso, fica aqui a sua resposta:

Yes, it's based on the Masonic apron by the Marquis De Lafayette.. an important piece of Masonic uniform and imagery.. we've altered it slightly to fit our concepts, and to also form the basis of what is the 'sub templum'. The theme of the art, and of the album, is "lux e tenebris", light from darkness. The amazing centrepeice in the gatefold sleeve by Roisin Dunne captures how we interpret this perfectly..look closely and it's cycular - light, into darkness, into life, into death, into sex, birth, love, hate, beauty, ugliness and on and on... Of course, we're fans of Soft Cell and I was aware of that cover..I made reference to it in another interview. Perhaps it could be interpreted as a subtle homage, but wasn't intended as such.
