IMMORTAL - new songs in progress!

Norway’s unstoppable black metal force IMMORTAL has been busy working on the band's new material. The band's members Demonaz and Horgh have also gone through a legal process the last year, having to protect their band’s name and logo from their previous singer.

In October 2014, ex-IMMORTAL singer/guitarist Abbath (Olve Eikemo) filed an trademark application for registration of the brand IMMORTAL to Patentstyret (Norwegian Industrial Property Office) without informing the other band members. The band's core members Horgh and Demonaz were forced to seek legal help to counter this. The trademark application from Eikemo was not approved and was denied registered on July 21th, 2015. Eikemo has left IMMORTAL to start his new band.

"IMMORTAL never stopped, we just had to go through a long legal process before we could go out in the media with the news. IMMORTAL is much more than just a band, and much more then just a form of music. The departure of one member cannot change that, no matter. We will continue what we believe in, and the power of ”Blashyrkh” shall live on."

Demonaz, the band’s founding member, has created material based on his visions of Blashyrkh for nearly 25 years. Some new songs, which are set to be included on the next album, are 'Northern Chaos Gods', 'Called To Ice', and 'Blacker Of Worlds'.

More information about the new music and line-up will be presented later this year.

The third album from Horrendous will be titled "Anareta" and will be released on Oct 27, 2015...almost one year since "Ecdysis.

Cover art once again skillfully handled by Brian Smith. Pre orders for CD and vinyl will be up in September.

Zornheym - Swedish symphonic black death metal warriors are finally in pre-production with the vocals! Next month the band will enter Wing Studios to nail it down on tape. Things are progressing and there's happing a lot of stuff "behind the scene".

BIOGRAPHY:

Zornheym is a new symphonic extreme metal band from Stockholm. The band may be new, however the members are weathered veterans in the scene with tons of experience.

They have fused together great story telling with a cinematic approach spiced up with urban legends and actual authentic horror stories. Finding inspiration from bands like Dissection, Dimmu Borgir, King Diamond, Marduk and Satyricon, the music is guitar based and backed up by a real string orchestra and choir! You're gonna be in for a hell of ride when entering their domain!

Right now the band is recording in the Wings studio in Stockholm, working hard to record their first batch of songs and are very eager to reveal their symphonies to the world.

FINISHED RECORDING VOCALS AT WING STUDIOS!

Zornheym, Swedish symphonic extreme metal warriors have finished last week all the main vocals at Wing Studios!
Next step is to get the string orchestra finished on the last two songs and record the choir parts on all tracks.
The band couldn't be happier with all the people that involved! Here's a little taste of what to come!
