As previously announced, Greek demons SEPTICFLESH have completed the recordings of their upcoming full-length. The new album is entitled 'Titan' and will consist of 10 songs. The band filmed the whole recording process of the album and are now presenting the first episode. Check out the Prague Filmharmonic Orchestra and Choir sessions!

CORONER - Drummer Marky Edelmann Leaving The Band






Drummer Markus "Marquis Marky" Edelmann has decided to leave Swiss thrashers Coroner at the end of this month. He thinks the group has made enough reunion shows and at this point the band either should stop or make a record. He doesn't want to record a new Coroner album and they will continue their journey from now on with a different drummer, yet to be announced. As for Markus, he will continue with a new band.

He issued the following message: "Dear friends, 3 years ago we started rehearsing together for our reunion tour after a break of 15 years. We thought it was going to be a matter of a few shows. Now, after 3 years, we have performed 27 shows all over the world! I cannot find the words to describe how much I enjoyed every single gig. I want to thank every single one of you for coming to the shows and giving us such a fantastic time. It was a great pleasure to perform for you, shake your hands and sometimes have a drink and a chat after the show.

Many thanks to all the promoters that booked us, without you we would still be sitting in our bunker rehearsing. I'm very sorry the shows we had hoped to do in Mexico, South America, Japan and Australia never happened. I was looking forward to those very much...

The following is not easy to say and believe me I have given it a lot of thought. I will leave Coroner at the end of February this year.

I think we have played more than enough reunion shows and now it's time to either stop doing reunion shows or to move on with a new album. For me it was clear from the start that I didn't want to record another album. I love the sound of Coroner but for me it's the moment to explore new sounds without the weight of the past on my shoulders.

Ron, Tommy and I agreed that Coroner should continue with another drummer. They will announce who it's going to be on the coroner-reunion page. With all my heart I wish 'em all the best for the future. We will be brothers forever. I will continue with a new band that you will hear about in the near future. So thank you all once more and I hope we are gonna see you very soon! Best."

Reverence Festival é novo festival em Portugal

Quem avança é a Blitz, num aclamado exclusivo, de que decorrerá nos dias 12 e 13 de Setembro junto à praia fluvial de Valada, no Cartaxo. E já há nomes!

Esta primeira edição do festival reunirá cerca de 40 bandas distribuídas em três palcos. O formato parece assemelhar-se ao Milhões de Festa, não fosse este Reverence Festival organizado pela Cartaxo Sessions em colaboração com a Lovers & Lollypops (produtora do dito Milhões de Festa), com os promotores londrinos AC30 e ainda o Sabotage Rock Club de Lisboa.

O evento realiza-se mais ao certo no Parque de Merendas de Valada do Ribatejo (na foto), que recebeu o Festival do Tejo entre 2001 e 2005. Haverá campismo e parque de estacionamento adjacentes ao recinto do festival, assim como a circulação de autocarros entre Reguengo e Valada, pois Reguengo é a estação de comboio mais próxima deste Reverence Festival.

O primeiro cabeça-de-cartaz anunciado é Hawkwind, banda lendária formada por Dave Brock em 1969 e autêntica referência do rock progressivo e psicadélico, assim como do space rock.

Estão também confirmados, segundo a notícia, nomes como Electric Wizard, Crippled Black Phoenix, Red Fang, Mão Morta, Psychic TV, Black Bombaim, Asimov, Keep Razors Sharp, Swervedriver, The Cosmic Dead, Killimanjaro, White Manna, Murdering Tripping Blues, Exit Calm, The Oscillation, The Telescopes, Spindrift, Jibóia e Air Formation. Mais nomes surgirão.

É também revelado que os passes de 2 dias custam 55 euros, passando para os 70 euros a partir do dia 30 de Junho. Os bilhetes diários custam 38 euros.

Secrets Of The Moon Part Ways With Drummer

"German black metallers Secrets Of The Moon are drummerless as Jörg "Thrawn Thelemnar" Heemann decided to leave the group after playing in the band for more than a decade. At the end of 2013, the band promised a new album for this year to follow Seven Bells.

The drummer issued this statement as he departs: "After 4 albums, several other releases, countless club shows, lots of festivals, highlights and lowlights I decided to leave Secrets Of The Moon. I thank my bandmates and groups we toured and played with for great, unforgettable times and especially you out there for your support and dedication over the past 12,5 years. From this day the name T. Thelemnar is not existent anymore.""
