EMPEROR will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of "In The Nightside Eclipse" at next year´s Wacken Open Air. Ihsahn and Samoth will be joined by Faust on drums, and they will perform the album in its entirety.

There will be no new studioalbum or a world wide tour, only a few exclusive festival appearances next year, to mark the celebration of this landmark album.

We have the macabre pleasure of announcing that recording has commenced for our forthcoming third full length recording, entitled "III - Hear Me, O' Death."

Drums were recorded this weekend and we will start guitars this week. Expect nothing less than the downtuned morbidity we are accustomed to. With III we plan to push the limits - heavier, slower, no grave left unturned.

Our next opvs will be released via SELFMADEGOD RECORDS on LP, CD, and cassette.
