Não encontrei outro tópico sobre Alcest portanto... here it goes.
Alcest é uma banda francesa cujo estilo musical se divide entre o black metal, o post-rock e o shoe-gaze. Começou como um projecto apenas de BM, mas evolui para a fase pela qual o projecto é mais reconhecido. Obviamente lembrei-me de criar este tópico devido às últimas ocorrências. Além da opinião fundamentada sobre a banda, gostava de ouvir expectativas para o concerto para quem está a pensar vir cá a Braga ver o Neige ou mesmo para o concerto na Roménia com Agalloch, para os malucos que vão. Está assim o jogo aberto.

new album
I will enter the Markus Stock's Studio E for recording the second Alcest album from the 27th of July to mid August. The mix/mastering will be done by N. Xort in september at the Drudenhaus Studio.
This album will contain 6 tracks : 4 new ones and the 2 ones from "Le Secret" re-recorded. As for the total playing time, it will be around 55 min. The concept will change a bit from "Souvenirs...", since I am dealing with the usual Alcest subjects but this time using ocean's thematic as a metaphor. I have been inspired a lot by seaside romanticism these last times, it's strengh and mysteries and I wanted to use it as the main idea/imagery for the new album.
Musically expect something slightly different as well, more complex in the structures (two of the new songs are 10 minutes lenght), emotionally wider, with a lot of contrasts and dark blue soundscapes...
But obviously this is still 100% Alcest, with its typical ecstatic moments and deep nostalgia.
Also Winterhalter (Amesoeurs/Les Discrets/ex Peste Noire,..) will play drums on this recording.
The release date is planned for january 2010.

Nem vou criar qualquer tipo de expectativas em relação ao concerto, aliás,nem sei se irei visto gostar bastante de Alcest e vê-los ao vivo poderá ser (ou não) uma desilusão....logo se verá....

NeveQuanto a Alcest, apesar de gostar de todos, o
Souvenirs d'un autre monde é mesmo <3
Quanto ao novo Split, parece-me que ele pegou no que fez no
Le Secret e juntou ao que fez no
Souvenirs d'un autre monde.
Espero que seja esse o rumo que vá seguir no próximo álbum..

achei esta última cena de alcest um grande xarope... entre o EP inicial e o álbum, prefiro o EP

O Neve nunca teve muito a ver com Peste Negra oh Nheco Nheco.

Peste Noire was born in the mind of one La sale Famine de Valfunde who wrote all songs (except one), solos, lyrics and imagined the whole concept of Peste Noire since its creation. The other members aren't/have never been involved in the song-writing process but are/were always used as session musicians (Neige included) playing the music written by Famine.
