Os Grave iniciaram-se em 1986 com o nome Corpse, mudando mais tarde para Putrefaction, e no final para a dita sepultura. Fazem parte do movimento de Swedish Death Metal.
Lançaram nove álbuns, sendo que o último foi lançado o ano passado, mas antes de o ouvirem aconselho a darem uma olhada nos primeiros, para quem prefere aquele som mesmo old-school e evil.
