"First up is Maine’s Ogre. They’re a winning mix of classic doom and classic rock, and their two contributions give a better understanding as to what a power trio should sound like.
Pennsylvania’s Blood Red take a half decade step past Ogre, adding an early to mid-‘80’s metal sound.
Regarding Connecticut’s Upwards of Endtime, I suppose the best way of describing them would be to ask you to imagine Iron Maiden somewhere between Killers and Number of the Beast fronted by Jello Biafra. There’s a rousing, galloping quality to their two tracks. They’re definitely the most metal of the three.
If you’re a fan of classic rock, doom, and metal, my advice is to grab yourself a copy of this (but only if you have a record player)."

CD Ives / Amort – split
IVES is a Duo from Florida mixing d-beat crust and black metal. Here is the reissue of the tape demo "Burial of the Modernized Soulless". After the amazing LP "Winter Tale" out on Kreation records, AMORT from Seattle, present on this split a new song call "In Bed With Decay" on the theme of the Sequester of Poitiers. Amazing and beautiful ambient doom between NORTT and CORRUPTED.

CD Mentat – Amarillo Abisal
CD edition of 'Amarillo Abisal' of MENTAT (Valencia -Spain), who contain six length songs of apocalyptic instrumental doom. For a total of 56 minutes of death atmosphere !
'Great CD from MENTAT, really high quality from this Spanish band. The sound fairly difficult to pin down but they have a strong experimental side to their sludge, doom and post hardcore sound. Mostly screamed vocals are given the perfect counterpoint by some beautiful ambient sections and there are some real surprises here like the use of brass and clean piano in parts. Well worth checking out.
6 tracks in 56 minutes, this is a very mature recording and an engrossing and epic listen.'

TAPE Hebosagil - Ura 4€ cassete-pro
Just when you thought Hebosagil had found their niche on the debut album "Colossal", the band flips the bird at you and deliver "Ura". Already hinted by their split releases with Viisikko and Two Beats Off, Hebosagil have changed their language to Finnish and smashed their chain of distortion pedals in favour of a more organic, yet perhaps even more violent sound. Seven songs of genre defying groove which can go from slow dirge to filthy punk craze without a need to rescue the band from the swamp of forced versatility - not saying that swamp isn't already filled with useless bands. On "Ura", you can find the driving sludge riffs from previous releases, but also a punky noise rock vibe nodding towards bands like Unsane and Radiopuhelimet. Be prepared to stand on your feet for weeks after hearing "Ura", Hebosagil are about to give you the spanking of a lifetime!
Pro-duplicated lilac tape with on-shell printing in full colour sleeve.
