* Enquanto se acabam as misturas do terceiro álbum da banda Angelus Apatrida - a lançar pela Century Media ainda na primeira metade de 2010, os USS (pela mão do produtor Daniel Cardoso) são os responsáveis sonoros pelo regresso dos SLAMO. "Awakened" é o primeiro single de avanço depois de um silencio de 7 anos e conta com a participação de Daniel Cardoso (Head Control System/ Heavenwood/ Kandia) na bateria e de Miguel Fonseca na guitarra (Bizarra Locomotiva/ Plastica/ MOFO). O resultado pode ser ouvido em http://www.myspace.com/slamoband

As some may have noticed, we revamped our profile with a brand new and fresh myspace look. There are still some bogus links but everything will be connected sometime soon. But lets go straight to the point...

So the ULTRASOUNDSTUDIOS is growing into a small family. And how does that affect you, the clients? Well, the only way it should: Better rates, better services and now getting closer to more bands and more artists with the new USS FRANCHISE (info available soon).

Another thing people may have noticed is that we "killed" our calendar. For no particular reason. We simply wouldn't be able to keep managing a calendar with bookings for all the studios.

And what's going on on ULTRASOUNDSTUDIOS? Well, we have THE RANSACK's third album being recorded at USS ONE (BRAGA), this time produced by Pedro Mendes; while CIBORIUM are firing some dead-cold riffs at USS TWO, with producers Hugo Andrade and Nuno Pardal pushing buttons and turning knobs; In the meantime, on our brand new USS MIX/ MASTER, we are finishing ANGELUS APATRIDA - newcomers on Century Media - third album, and also finishing the debut from FM rockers 4X4.

Finally we are now opening the "band of the month" section. This means that every month we will highlight one USS band by uploading one track and putting their album cover on the top of our page. We started with the great "Black Book", the debut from hardcore rockers HILLS HAVE EYES. Go check it out!

* Os PAINTED BLACK são a banda de destaque no myspace oficial dos ULTRASOUNDSTUDIOS durante o mês de Maio, com o tema "The Rain in June"

* Em estúdio termina-se o segundo álbum dos VERTIGO STEPS (USS 2 - MOITA), gravam-se as baterias dos açoreanos STAMPKASE (USS 1 - BRAGA) e fazem-se os arranjos de mais um sucesso da banda pop portuense SLIDE (USS 3 - MIX/ MASTER - LISBOA)
