Banda dos gajos de Self-Inflicted Violence...Tiveram um dos grandes álbuns de 2009. Infelizmente no youtube não encontro nada, mas ouçam no space.

EALDULF is the best album i ve heard over the last few years when it goes to the logical continuation of what ENSLAVED left out after "Hordanesland" and "Frost". This is Nordic metal as it should have been played nowadays by Enslaved....and fans of early ENSLAVED should UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE, and i really UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE miss this album which is already propelling EALDULF as BEST UK BLACK METAL band. The prove....just listen to GEMS like "Hulsan Eolstre Viwrah" or "Wyrde Wydstondan" which got this amazing solo galloping...and then these diabolically efficient riffs....truly haunting vocals are embedded on a curtain of carnivorous yet fluent guitar riffs, creating a truly nordic climate...."Mod Grondhweorrfed" is a great mid tempo song. "Oft Garmearig" is like the march of brave northern warriors ready for the RUMBLE, yes, nothng better than a good rough rumble to pillage all the village....the leading guitars is doing it so perfectly....then it slows down like if it was an old vinyl played and suddenly a powercut. "Eald Enta Eweore" is fast, gallopping through the battle ruins and not far from reminding me something like EROWID....then the song continues with acoustic harp, giving to it a truely Gaelic mood...But the last song "Ofer Wabema Gebind" finished this album in the greatest way you could imagine, making this album enjoyed like a true nordic SAGA, very epic, strong, mesmerizing and breathtaking, offering you scenic views of mauntains and fjords unveiling their splendor....right before your eyes! As i told you...this album is to be enjoyed like a great saga...could be a movie or a book....it is simply riveting!
One thing is sure....i am VERY EAGERLY waiting for the NEXT assault of EALDULF on CD AND VINYL. There is one thing sure, and l am VERY much looking forward to it....this next album of EALDULF will be far more intense than any released records so far....await for a masterpiece that will surpass ENSLAVED.....and...without wanting to lack of modesty, a logo signed Christophe Szpajdel *Lord of Logos*. Muito relativo, para mim essa nem é das melhores de Immortal.
Para mim estas são das melhores deles:



Mas nem me vou meter no "isto é a melhor musica" etc etc, porque seria muito difícil escolher uma.
Mas para mim, muitas de Xasthur como a Suicide In Dark Serenity(versão do AGTBM), Dwell Beneath The Woods Of Evil, Dommed By Howling Winds, Trauma Will Always Linger, et cetera e a Welt Aus Eis de Pd'H estão no meu top Best Ever.
