NECRO DEATHMORT

A band with a sound like Necro Deathmort doesn't magically appear overnight. Londoners Matthew Rozeik and AJ Cookson had been honing their craft in a variety of musical projects before combining forces in Necro Deathmort. The duo's debut, This Beat is Necrotonic, received much acclaim, and hopes were high for Music of Bleak Origin, which shall certainly leave no fan displeased. Necro Deathmort is back with passion and the mix of styles that made This Beat is Necrotonic so successful returns in full force. The band's sound is much smoother this time around, combining all the metal, electronic, and ambient/drone influences and synthesizing it into a more fluid and cohesive sound than its predecessor. What results is a dark, eerie, and sometimes (oddly) cinematic album that forever marches forward and never overstays its welcome.

Por enquanto só ouvi o Ashes against the grain (e ou muito me engano ou as leads de Mourning lenore vao buscar muita influencia a isto) e o Marrow of the spirit. Estou a gostar.
