Skinning (modo de tortura por esfolamento) formou-se em meados de Dezembro de 2011 em Guimarães. É constituída por Luís Barroso (Baterista de Skinning e Daemogorgon; ex: de Hacksaw, Vrna, Koltum e Infernal Kingdom) e Vítor Lopes (Vocalista e Guitarrista de Skinning e PosMortiis).
A 22 e 23 de Dezembro, Skinning grava a sua primeira música intitulada “Left to Die” nos estúdios "314" pelo produtor Bruno. No dia 25 de Dezembro de 2011 é postado o tema on-line na página oficial da banda. “Left to Die” serve de promoção e de dar a conhecer a sua música. Em Março de 2012 Baal Quinhones (Baixista de Skinning e Daemogorgon) aceitou o convite para desempenhar a função de baixista.
Em Março de 2012 Skinning grava o seu primeiro EP – Beneath the Scars (contendo 5 temas originais) produzido e masterizado pelo Bruno Silva nos estúdios 314.
A nossa sonoridade tem por base o Death Metal e tem como influências: Vader, Krisiun, Aeon, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, Decapitated, Morbid Angel, Deicide,etc.
A banda continua o seu trabalho preparando novos temas e dando concertos.
Skinning ( the act of skin removal ) was formed in middle December 2011 in Guimarães. Luís Barroso (Drums Skinning and Daemogorgon, ex: Hacksaw, Vrna, Koltum and Infernal Kingdom) and Vítor Lopes (Vocals, Guitar the Skinning and PosMortiis) are the members. At 22 and 23 of December, Skinning entered in studios “314” with the producer Bruno and recorded its first track “Left to die”. At 25 December it is posted online at the band official page. “Left to die” is a way to people get to know the band.
In March 2012 Baal Quinhones (bass the Skinning and Daemogorgon) accepted an invitation to play.
In March 2012 Skinning recorded the first EP - Beneath the Scars (containing five original songs) produced and mastered by Bruno Silva in the 314 studios.
The band has its roots on the Death Metal and its influences are: Vader , Krisiun, Aeon, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, Decapitated, Morbid Angel, Deicide,etc.
The band keeps on its work preparing new releases.
